Jonathan established his accountancy practice in 1991 at Henley Beach. He then moved his growing practice to Tapleys Hill Road at Fulham where he practised until 2008. In November of 2008 Jonathan relocated his practice to a modern state of the art building within the Bartons group. Jonathan has the following qualifications and registrations:

- CPA Public Practice Certificate
- Member National Tax and Accountants Association
- Registered Tax Agent
- Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (FINSEA)
Jonathan consults to clients in a wide range of industries, including property, agribusiness, manufacturing, wholesale and investment.

Jonathan is married and has three children aged between 13 and 20 years. His interests include family, gym, table tennis, snow skiing, listening to music together with an annual fishing and canoe trip.
